“Popstar: Never Stop Never Stopping”- Review:

Conner’s (Andy Samberg) solo album is a failure and now has to do whatever it takes to maintain his celebrity.

What a great spoof film. The Lonely Island know the idiocy of the music business and the faces of it and use that to craft a magnificent comedy. For me all the jokes hit. Samberg should be a star in comedies. His timing is impeccable, and the songs here are amazing. I could’ve just sat and listened to this album.

The performances are great. Tim Meadows as Conners manager was another standout. The banter is a joy to watch. Conner will say something to his manager and he will respond with the same thing just in a different way.

My only critics in of the film is the plot being pretty formulaic. Other than that, the music and the performances make up for that.
